AIIMS PG entrance exam is conducted twice a year for the admission to various MD/MS PG courses.

The result for AIIMS PG exam for January 2018 session, which was held on 12^th November 2017, has been declared.

Merit list of the candidates has been released who have scored above 50 percentile which is the qualifying cut-off criteria.

Minimum Cut-Off Scores for AIIMS PG Jan 2018

The minimum cut-off score required in the AIIMS PG Entrance, for deciding the eligibility for admission, is 50^th Percentile.

 

Procedure for Resolving Ties

Following is the tie-breaking criteria in case a number of candidates have secured equal marks in AIIMS PG Entrance:

1. Candidates who have obtained higher aggregate marks in the MBBS Professional Examinations will be placed higher than the candidates who obtained lower aggregate marks in MBBS Professional Examinations.
2. In case the tie still remains unresolved after applying the Step I, the older candidate (according to date of birth) will be given preference over the younger one.

 

Tentative Counseling Schedule for AIIMS PG January 2018 session

Counseling will be conducted in three rounds for candidates who have qualified the exam.

Following are the details and tentative dates of counseling:

Second round	December 18, 2017
Open Counseling	February 23, 2018

 

Note: The tentative date of Spot counseling by respective AIIMS (in case seats lie vacant after Open Counseling) will be decided later on by respective AIIMS.

 

Reservation of Seats

49.5% of total MD/MS seats are reserved (excluding Sponsored/Foreign National candidates) for the candidates who belong to the SC, ST and OBC (Non-creamy layer) category.
