Basic Life Support (1 day)

In this classroom program, medical professionals learn to identify numerous life-threatening emergencies, furnish CPR to people of all age groups, utilize an AED and relieve choking in a timely, effective and safe manner. The course content of BLS is enlisted in the table below:

7.      The American Heart Association Chain of Survival
8.      Major changes in basic life support, reflecting the new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (2 days) ACLS Course trains healthcare professionals to respond to the cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital. The course content of ACLS is enlisted in the table below:

2. Effective Resuscitation Team Dynamics
3. Management of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and stroke

6. Airway management
7. Related pharmacology
8. Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device and use of an AED
9. Major changes in advanced cardiovascular life support, reflecting the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
