Ask yourself what drives you to walk on the chosen path and why MBA is your next big goal. It is essential to be able to come up with reasons beyond lucrative employment opportunities because, after a certain amount of time, money will fail to make you feel content from within. If your goal excites you, brings out the best in you, and fuels your passion, then you are headed in the right direction. And the absence of this indicates the need to ask yourself the right questions.

Take out some time for yourself

By now, you know that little things can play a big role in refreshing you, boosting your performance, and helping you thrive. So, it is crucial that you leave some space for your hobbies in your schedule. If baking a cake is what it takes to relax your mind, do it. If dancing to the tunes of your favorite singer fills your heart with joy, don’t stop yourself from doing that. It will not only lift up your spirits while calming your mind at the same time; but also give you something interesting to talk about during your CAT interviews.

Socialize

No, we are not asking you to wreck your plan or get distracted while preparing for the exam. However, you need to ensure that you don’t lock yourself up in a room and isolate yourself until you have reached your destination. Engage in calming and encouraging discussions with your friends and family. No matter how independent you are, you will need to socialize and communicate. Also, don’t undermine the power of exercising and meditating. These have significantly helped aspirants in the past, and they will help you!

Have you ever been in a situation where you know you can do better, but your nervousness and apprehension make you say the wrong answer, or don’t let you read the question accurately, or pave the way for silly mistakes? If yes, then you already know the importance of emotional stability and mental peace. So, do whatever it takes to ensure the same.

CAT is not just an aptitude exam; it’s also a test of your attitude

Yes, you have to practice, real, appear for multiple mock-tests, analyze which of the three sections is your weakness, and work on it. But you also have to be mentally equipped to deal with challenges, unanticipated obstacles, and tricky scenarios. Being CAT ready requires you to have the right attitude, along with academic knowledge.

Shivani Parey explains why she strongly believes in the strength of these tips in the following video. Also, she believes that the PrepLadder app has everything you need to ace the exam.
