Here is an important piece of news for all the aspirants who desire to get admission in PG courses in Kerala. The second phase of counselling for the allotment of seats in Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma Courses for the year 2017 has commenced from May 12, 2017. In this phase of allotment, Private Self Financing Medical Colleges and Deemed University have also been included. Individuals who have already registered online and wish to participate in this allotment procedure need to confirm their existing options. This can be obtained by just clicking on the ‘Confirm’ button available in his/her home page. All the eligible aspirants who wish to get allotted in newly included Private Self Financing Medical Colleges and Deemed University can file a fresh option. All the options like confirmation, deletion, rearrangement, registering of fresh options can be performed on the official website from May 12, 2017 to May 17, 2017. Important Dates for Second Round of Counselling:

Counselling for the verification of documents of candidates allotted to Deemed University and Community/NRI quota seats in Self Financing colleges in the presence of the representative of the college. May 22, 2017
Allotted candidates shall remit the fee / balance fee as shown in the allotment memo to the colleges during admission May 23, 2017 to May 25, 2017. (Time: 05:00 p.m.)
Heads of Institutions to submit non-join report via Online Admission Management System (OAMS) to the office of CEE May 25, 2017 (Time: 05:30 p.m.)
Important Information for candidates applying under Christian community quota and NRI Quota: Aspirants who are eligible to apply for Christian community quota in Self Financing Medical Colleges under Kerala Christian Professional College Management Federation should opt for the same and they are required to submit their options via ‘PG Medical 2017 Candidate Portal’ in the official website. Refer official notification for more details in order to apply under Christian community quota. Candidates those who are eligible to apply under NRI Quota in Self Financing Medical Colleges and Deemed University must opt for the same and are required to upload the documents in proof of NRI Quota claim through the official website. Candidates who will be allotted in Self Financing Medical Colleges and Deemed University under the NRI and Community Quota should produce the originals of the uploaded documents and other certificates for verification in the counselling that would be held at Thirivananthapuram on May 22, 2017. Candidates included in the NEET PG 2017 rank list but not in the Kerala State Merit list that is prepared and published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations have an option to file afresh and to submit their options online to the Deemed University and to the Management/NRI Quota seats in the newly included Self Financing Colleges for participating in this second phase of allotment process. These candidates, if allotted a seat need to produce their proof for Kerala Nativity and other documents in original for the scrutiny to be held at Thirivananthapuram on May 22, 2017. Such candidates who file afresh and get allotted in Deemed University need to produce the proof for Nationality during counselling. Such candidates who have been allotted to the courses, and remit the fee/balance fee as prescribed, should take admission in the college/course allotted according to the schedule mentioned by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Candidates who do not remit the prescribed fees/take admission within the stipulated time will lead to failure of their allotment and claims for further allotments, if any.
