1.Overall Difficulty level – Moderate to Difficult
As per the results of the poll, 40% of candidates participating in the poll stated that the exam stood ‘Moderate’ while 60% stated that the exam stood ‘Difficult’ in terms of level of difficulty.
Overall, based on the reviews of the candidates, it can be said that the difficulty level of the exam ranged between ‘Moderate to Difficult’.
2.Difficult Session
As per the reviews of the candidates participating in the survey, Evening session was more on the difficult side in comparison to the Morning Session.
3.Deciders/High Weight Age Subjects
Deciders or the subjects that carried substantial weight age in FMGE December 2016 session were:
Medicine contained the highest number of questions followed by Pharmacology followed by Biochemistry and Radiology.
Therefore, candidates having grip over these subjects would have attempted the exam pretty well.

4.Low Weight Age Subjects
Subjects which did not carry considerable weight age in the FMGE December 2016 session were ENT, Physiology, Forensic Medicine and Microbiology.

6.General Pattern of Questions
Based on the reviews of Majority of candidates participating in the survey, ‘Clinical Scenario’ questions ruled the FMGE exam.
Candidates stated that 80% of questions were based on ‘Clinical Scenarios’ while only 20% were ‘One Liners’.
7.Image-Based Questions – Moderate Weight Age
As per the candidates’ reviews, Image-Based questions carried Intermediate weight age in the FMGE.
Image-Based questions were less than 30 as per the reviews of the candidates.
Many Image-Based questions were directly repeated from ‘FMGE Vital Pack’ by Prepladder.
