DNB CET EXAM ANALYSIS DAY 1, SESSION 1

The Morning session of the June 15^th 2017 DNB CET exam is now over. PrepLadder approached 500+ real students who took the exam today to update you about the standard of todays exam. This analysis has been compiled based on the genuine polling from the candidates who appeared in the Day 1 Session 1 of June 15^th DNB CET. This polling was conducted by PrepLadder so that we can help the candidates who are going to appear in the exam in subsequent sessions.

Detailed Exam Analysis of DNB CET – JUNE 15^th 2017 Morning Session. 

  Overall Difficulty Level – Moderate: As per the poll results, the Session 1 of June 15, 2017 was of moderate level. Many candidates shared that some questions were repeated but in an indirect manner. They also said that exam was not lengthy rather if one has decent time management skills, then one can go through all the questions very easily. Deciders/High Weight Age Subjects: Deciders or the Subjects that could bring a valuable difference to your overall ranking were Pharmacology and Pathology. These subjects were followed by Anatomy and Biochemistry that also comprised of good weightage. Low Weightage Subjects: Subjects carrying considerably low weight age in the morning shift were Orthopedics and Anesthesia. Pattern of Questions: Once again, ‘One-liners’ dominated the Morning session exam. Many basic questions were asked, most of which were factual and nothing much was conceptual. Repeated questions were also seen but in a twisted manner in order to form a new question. However, official subject wise marks distribution was not followed strictly. Image-Based Questions – Substantial Weight Age: About 20 questions in the exam were Image-Based. The level of questions was moderate. Distribution of Questions: This exam comprised of 300 questions in total. Based on the level of difficulty as per the reviews of candidates, questions have been classified into different categories and are enclosed in the table below:

NOTE: About 25% of questions in the exam were from short subjects.   Direct Questions from PrepLadder’s Mock Test Series The main highlight was that direct questions from the test series of PrepLadder were seen in the Morning session of June 15^th DNB CET, 2017. Overall, more than 35 questions were asked from our mock test series. As many as 10+ questions appeared directly and more than 25 questions were repeated in an indirect manner from the PrepLadder’s Mock Test Series. June 15^th, Day 1 Session 1: Conclusion    Based on the polling that has been conducted, the overall level of exam was moderate. Many questions were fact based and straight forward. Moreover, previous years questions were also seen but in an indirect way. Therefore, we recommend the candidates who are going appear in the upcoming days to prepare the basics thoroughly. Further, go through the previously asked questions once. As short subjects carried 25% of overall weightage, don’t miss them as they can really help you to attain your goal i.e. clear DNB CET 2017.
