Hello, please tell us something about yourself.

My name is Dr.akhila chitteddi. I graduated from Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University in june 2017. I scored 166 in FMGE December 2017.

According to you what is the correct approach to study for FMGE ? Only MCQ's or Theory + MCQ's ?

Both theory and MCQ’s play an important role.. learn the things accordingly.

When should the preparation ideally be started?

I started in june 2017 only.

Please list the books you studied for each subject.

Followed Roams review book, Primes both volume and Fmge solution deepak marwah Coaching notes also helped me alot.

Is this your first attempt ? If No, what did you do different this year that lead to your success.

What's the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it?

Revision is very important. Try to revise everything. Don’t leave any subject. Minimum 2 revisions should be done.

Did PrepLadder played a part in your success? If yes, how?

Yes, I practiced MCQ’s, Daily Quiz and Mocks provided by PrepLadder.

Did you followed a time table/study plan to keep your preparation on track?

No, I did not follow any study plan but I studied on regular basis.

Were you a topper or an average student during graduation?

I was an average student during graduation.

List the most difficult and easiest subjects for you.

General Surgery, Orthopedic, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Pathology & Biochemistry appeared to be easy for me while Microbiology, Pharmacology, Anatomy were tough.

One mistake that should be avoided while preparing for FMGE

Don’t leave any small subject because they are actually scoring things.
