Eligibility Certificate for FMGE
Here is some important piece of news for all those desiring to pursue Primary Medical Qualification (MBBS or its Equivalent) from any foreign nation and seeking to practice in India on the completion of the Primary Medical Qualification.
As per the Section 13(4B) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, all Indian citizens desirous of joining undergraduate Medical program in any Foreign Medical Institution and seeking to practice Medicine in India after the completion of the UG course will be required to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the MCI, New Delhi prior to leaving the nation.
Indian citizen holding a Primary Medical Qualification from any Foreign Medical Institution will not be permitted to appear/participate in the MCI Screening Test/FMGE without obtaining an Eligibility Certificate from the MCI.

Therefore, obtaining an Eligibility Certificate from the MCI is a mandatory requirement for all FMGE aspirants.
Therefore, all applicants desirous of joining Medical UG program in a Foreign Medical Institute/University should apply for the Eligibility Certificate to the MCI on the performa prescribed by the Council and must submit the original certificates/Mark sheets & Xerox copies of the qualifying examination.

This must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of the specified sum drawn in favor of the Secretary, MCI, New Delhi.

3. Original +2 Mark sheet & Pass Certificate with 3 self-attested Xerox copies |
4. Original SC/ST/OBC Certificate with 3 self-attested Xerox copies |
5. Original Proof of Admission in Foreign Medical University with 3 self-attested Xerox copies |
