  1. Reporting to the FMG Exam Centre

Candidates must reach the FMG exam center on the exam day as per the time slot mentioned in the admit card. For your convenience, we have added a chart displaying the FMG exam day schedule in the next point below.

Make sure to reach the reporting counter(specified in the admit card FMGE) 30 minutes before the commencement of the test. Early arrival ensures you have ample time for the security check, minimizing any potential delays.

  1. Mandatory Documents for FMG exam

You must carry your admit Card and Govt. issued photo identification proof along (Voter ID/ PAN Card/Aadhaar Card/ Passport/Driving License) to the examination lab.

As per the FMGE new rules and regulations aspirants must carry a printed copy of a Barcoded/QR Coded Admit card. Also, the ID must have the candidate's photograph properly pasted on it. Make sure that the ID is original and valid/non-expired.

Note: Your name on the ID proof should match the name mentioned on the admit card and in case of any recent changes (in cases such as marriage), relevant documents must be shown at the centre. 

If in case, the candidate is unable to present a valid ID proof at the exam centre, his/her entry will be not be allowed to appear for the examination. Presenting documents with proper images and signatures is one of the most basic yet important FMGE rules and regulations to be followed. 

  1. Admit Card 2024 FMGE Requirements

As by now your admit card must have been already uploaded to the NBEMS website, make sure the image pasted on it meets the standard set requirements. For your reference, we’ve listed a few basic guidelines below-

  • The image pasted on the admit card must have a minimum size of 35X45 mm and must not exceed the size of the image box. Also, only 75% of the area of the image should be occupied with the candidate’s head and the face. 
  • The photograph must have a white background. 
  • The candidate's face in the image must display a neutral expression. Also, the candidate mustn't be wearing any accessories like goggles, caps, stethoscopes or any other kind of ornaments in the photograph.
  • The resolution of the image must be 600 dpi and only printed on a high quality paper. Also, make sure to keep the photograph must not have stains or scratches.  

Important Note: As per the FMGE 2024 new rules and regulations candidates must carry a printed copy of a Barcoded/QR Coded Admit card. Also, the ID must have his/her photograph properly pasted on it. 

The barcode or the admit card must be flashed to the exam functionary at the exam venue. The list of roll numbers and corresponding assigned labs will be displayed outside the test venue for easy reference.

  1. Security at the Test Centre

You must not carry the following items beyond the checkpoint-

  • Any stationery items like notes, plastic pouches, pen drives, calculators, erasers, pens, etc. Electronic devices like Mobile Phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphones, wristwatches/Health Bands, pen drives, etc. are strictly prohibited. 
  • Ornaments such as chains/necklaces, rings, earrings, nose-pin, bracelets, pendants, etc. Some accessories including wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps etc. 
  • Other than all the items mentioned above opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottles, etc. are also not allowed inside the exam venue. 
  1. Test Day Procedures

Once the verification of ID is done and biometrics and digital signatures are captured at the FMGE centre, candidates will be guided to the designated computer terminal and an invigilator will check in the candidate.

During the examination, candidates must carry their admit card and photo ID at all times. Before beginning with the exam, candidates must carefully listen and follow the invigilator's instructions.

Candidates are advised not to look around during the examination as there will be surveillance cameras recording the exam procedure. Any doubt or disruptive behavior on the part of the candidate may result in disqualification of candidature.

If In case there are any issues during the exam, the candidate may raise his or her hand to inform the Invigilator.

  1. Dress code for FMG Exam

As per the FMGE rules and regulations, no specific dress code has been made mandatory for FMGE aspirants. However, we’d like to advise you to wear anything that is comfortable and allows sitting for a very long duration.
