1. Overall Difficulty Level – Moderate 

The Morning session was moderate difficulty. While some candidates reported that the exam was difficult, majority of candidates appearing in the Morning session stated that the exam was of Moderate Difficulty level. Overall, the morning session exam stood at ‘Moderate level’ based on the opinions of majority of examinees.

2. Deciders/High-Weight Age Subjects

Deciders or the subjects that could bring a substantial difference to your overall ranking were mostly Pre-Clinical Subjects. Pre-Clinical Subjects carried a lot of weight age in the Morning session exam. Highest number of questions appeared from Pathology followed by Physiology, Pharmacology, Obstetrics & Gynecology. Among short subjects, Orthopedics carried very high weight age.

3. Low Weight Age Subjects

Subjects which carried considerably low weight age in the Morning session were ENT, Forensic Medicine and Surgery.

4. Pattern of Questions

Examinees stated that majority of the questions in the Morning session were ‘One Liners’. NBE once again did not include clinical questions.

5. Image-Based Questions – Considerable Weight Age

Image-Based questions carried a considerable weight age in the Morning session. As many as 30+ Image-Based questions appeared in the morning session.

6. Distribution of Questions

Questions have been classified into 3 different categories based on student reviews. Distribution of Questions is as follows:
