NEET PG Scam: Hacking of Medical entrance server

May 3, 2017

According to our perception, corruption is found in every sector excluding education sector. But after reading this news associated with NEET-PG, you all will be spellbound. Here’s a shocking news for all the NEET PG aspirants. We regret to inform you that the medical entrance server for National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-PG) which was held on December 5 and December 13, 2016 was hacked by some cyber criminals. It’s an enormous loss for all the students who tried hard to qualify this entrance exam to get admission in medical postgraduate courses as some people don’t understand the value of hard work and play with the career of students. On January 20, 2017; police received information that some miscreants had cracked the online medical entrance examination, which had been held between December 5 and December 13, after hacking the servers. After getting this information, Delhi police have arrested two persons with the help of technical surveillance for allegedly hacking of computer servers during the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), held in December 2016 to admit students into postgraduate medical courses and taken them into police custody for 10 days. The arrested persons have been identified as Abhishek Singh, a native of Varanasi, and Atul Vats, a native of Patna. Police also said that these two criminals charged a huge amount of money from NEET PG aspirants after giving them the assurance of good ranks in the NEET postgraduate examination. A senior officer also states that Atul Vats met a person who used to check the software used for the examination and roped him in and then Abhishek Singh used to ask some doctors for help. The doctors would sit in a hotel in Dwarka and take the exam from there. As the examination servers were compromised, the candidate at the examination center would be able to send the questions to the doctors on the day of the examination. The paper was solved by experts who were sitting in a hotel in Dwarka, sending the answers back to the candidates. It’s our humble request to the Govt. Authority to make a proper judgment to punish all the accused persons as soon as possible to give justice to all the dedicated students in order to respect their ambition. Stay tuned to PrepLadder!!
