NEET SS June 2018 is to be held on 6th July at various test centers across the country. We are here with all the important details and overview of NEET SS 2018 so that you don’t miss upon anything. Exam Timings
Exam timings 2 PM to 5:30 PM
Reporting time 12:00 PM
Reporting closes at 01:30 PM

Other Important Points highlighted in the Notification

1) As per the Information Bulletin, a candidate had the option to choose a maximum of 2 super specialty courses/ clubbed group. 2) The eligible prior entry broad qualification(s) for a particular super specialty course are indicated in annexure B of the Information Bulletin. In case a candidate has chosen two super specialty courses, the design of the question paper shall be as under: 3) The sequence of the question paper will be: Part A1 followed by part B1 followed by Part A2 followed by Part B2. 4) Time allocated to each part is as follows:

B1 60 mins
A2 45 mins
B2 60 mins
Total 3 hours 30 mins
Note: You cannot proceed from one part to another part unless the time allocated for that particular part is complete. 5) The Part-B of each super specialty/ clubbed group question paper will be separate. However, Part-A for certain super specialty courses, having same feeder broad specialty courses, will be same. Let us take an example to understand this: General Surgery is the only & common feeder broad specialty qualification for Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, HepatoPancreato Biliary Suregry, Neuro Surgery, Paediatric Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology/ G.I Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Urology/ Genito- Urinary Surgery & Vascular Surgery. Therefore, part-A for the question paper for all these super specialty courses will be same. 6) Suppose a candidate has chosen Surgical Gastroenterology and Urology during the online application for NEET-SS 2018. Part A for both these papers will be same as these super specialties have the same feeder broad specialty qualification i.e General Surgery. Such a candidate will be taking the exam in the following sequence: However, as part A2 being similar to Part A1, part A2 of the second paper will not display any questions and the computer screen will remain blank for a period of 45 minutes which is allocated to Part A2. It is hereby clarified that the marks obtained by such candidate in Part A1 will be utilized for generating the merit list for both the super specialty courses that the candidate has chosen. 7) Candidates opting for only one super specialty or eligible for a single super specialty are not allowed to leave the examination hall till the competition of the entire exam or 5:30 PM whichever is earlier. 8) Based on the eligible feeder broad specialty qualifications for Super specialty courses, the following super specialty courses will have similar Part A of their question papers. (A) Cardiology & Pulmonary Medicine (B) Endocrionology, Hepatology, Nephrology, Neurology and Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology. (C ) Endocrine Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery, Paediatric Suregry, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery/ Paediatric  Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery/ Vascular Surgery/ Thoracic Surgery, HepatoPancreato Biliary Surgery/ Surgical Gastroenterology (G.I Surgery) You can also go the official notification here.
