In this exclusive interview with PrepLadder, he shares his experience and plan that worked best for him to help score well in FMGE. Hello, please tell us something about yourself. Hello. I am Dr. Surendra Nadh. I did my graduation from Guangxi Medical University. I scored 205 marks in FMGE June 2018 examination. According to you what is the correct approach to study for FMGE? Only MCQ's or Theory + MCQ's? Both (theory+ mcq) When should the preparation ideally be started? Right from the starting and at least 5 months should be at your hand side. Please list the books you studied for each subject. Written notes by yourself are the best way. What's the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it? Revision is the key to success like one must have to do a minimum of 3 to 4 revisions and a proper timetable has to be maintained to achieve that. Did PrepLadder play a part in your success? If yes, how? Yes, PrepLadder did play a part in my success. The mock tests conducted by Dr. Deepak Marwah on PrepLadder platform were really very helpful. I scored 148 and 156 marks in the 2 mocks. I was more confident after participating in the tests. Did you follow a timetable/study plan to keep your preparation on track? Yes, a study plan is a must to keep the preparations on the track. Were you a topper or an average student during graduation? I am an average student List the most difficult and easiest subjects for you. Medicine, Pathology is the difficult one. Microbiology, Pharma, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, PSM, and Pediatrics are the easy picks One mistake that should be avoided while preparing for FMGE.
