NIMHANS Entrance Exam: Basic Overview
NIMHANS is an online objective pattern PG Entrance Exam conducted for admission to direct M.Ch. Neurosurgery/DM Neurology and MD Psychiatry courses.
A common entrance exam is conducted for all these courses and a separate Merit list is published for every course.
The exam is conducted twice a year – for the January and the July session.

Earlier the exam contained 150 questions and the total duration of the exam was 2 hours but recently there is a change in the number of questions & duration of the exam.
According to the recent notification, the exam will contain 100 questions with 90 minutes duration.
NIMHANS Entrance 2018 July Session: Scheme of Examination
NIMHANS entrance exam contains questions from all MBBS subjects as well as from Neurology section. The level of MBBS questions is similar to AIIMS PG & JIPMER PG.
