Rajasthan: 2nd Round of Medical PG Seats Allotment (2017)

PrepLadder would like to share an important piece of news for all the medical aspirants who want  to seek admission in Medical PG courses in Rajasthan Govt./Private Medical Colleges. This information is related to the 2nd Round of Allotment procedure for State Medical PG Seats which will be held offline. This blog consists of all the important dates and details regarding the registration of counseling process. The schedule for 2nd Round of Allotment Procedure for State Medical PG Seats  are mentioned below:

3 Last date of Reporting and document verification at the allotted college Same day, on spot, along with submission of all original document and surety bond .
4 Last date of fee deposition in allotted college May 27, 2017 By 5.00 p.m.
Venue for the counseling: Auditorium of SMS Hospital Campus, Jaipur Important points for Candidates :
  • Candidates who have not filled choices in round 1st but already registered for State PG Admission – 2017, are eligible for counseling.
  • Candidates are also found to be eligible for 2nd round of counseling who have filled part -1 of Registration and Deposited registration fee but have not filled Part -2.
  • Those candidates who have already taken admission in Govt/Private Medical College of Rajasthan through State Quota and have submitted their original documents in the concerned college will have to produce the fee receipt of the previously allotted and joined college but they will have to deposit required Bond and other formalities at the time of counseling.
  • Candidates who have reported/joined in any Medical College of India through All India Quota of NEET-PG 2017 and will be able to seek allotment through this 2nd round of state counseling and they will have to bring his/her original documents at the time of counseling.
  • Those candidates who have reported/joined in Govt. Medical colleges of State of Rajasthan through All India Quota of NEET-PG 2017 and opting for state seat in this counseling, will have to submit their resignation from All India Quota Seat at the time of counseling which will be duly accepted by the Principal or His Representative which will present in the counseling board and the said vacant seat shall be reverted to State Quota for allotment.
  • Fresh candidates, who will get admission, are required to submit their original documents & required bond at the time of counseling.The allotment of the subject and college shall be strictly based on merit and as per preference only in accordance with the rules laid down by MCI/ Hon’ble Supreme Court of India/ Hon’ble High Court, Rajasthan/ Government of Rajasthan and Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur and Rules/ Regulation of Private University, as applicable.
Instructions for Candidates:
  • The candidates are suggested to read the instructions and FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions) given on official website.
  • The candidates who did not login/register himself/herself in time, candidates who did not participate in 1st Round (Online) seat allotment process, candidates who did not join on their previously allotted seats and candidates who resigned earlier from allotted seats will not be allowed to allotment in the process of the counseling of the 2nd round.
  • Any candidate selecting the subject which is not recognized by the MCI, will not be allowed to claim for any change on this ground, except during subsequent round of allotment, if any, depending upon his/her merit and as per preference only. The candidates are required to visit the official website.
  • Individual information shall not be sent to the candidates for the allotment.
  • A candidate must present the accepted resignation from the institution if he/she is pursuing studies at present, at the time of counseling. Failure to do so will result in disqualification for admission.
  • Candidates selected for taking admission in Govt. Medical College, will have to submit a surety bond of Rs. 5.00 Lac (Rupees Five Lacs) in favour of Principal of the admitting college at the time of counseling. At the time of final joining, the candidate will have to submit Bank Guarantee for the amount of Rs. 1.50 Lacs and Bond for Rs. 3.50 Lacs. The earlier bond of Rs. 5.00 Lacs submitted in the concerned college will be returned back to the candidates.
  • Candidates selected for any PG seat in Private Medical  College of Rajasthan, will have to submit a Surety Bond in favour of Principal of the admitting college at the time of counseling, amounting to One Year Fee for the allotted subject in that Private Medical College .
  • According to State Government directions, candidates who are not in service under Govt. of Rajasthan but selected under both All India and State Quota for various PG Degree /Diploma courses for the academic session 2017 – 2018 in Government Medical Colleges, will have to fill a bond of commitment to serve the State Government of Rajasthan for a period of five (05) years. If any candidate fails, he/she will have to pay a sum of Rs. 25 Lac (Rupees Fifteen Lac) for Degree course to the State Government.
  • If any candidate has already taken admission in colleges that do not come under the purview of this admission board, they are required to attend the counseling along with original documents, otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.
  • Candidates selected for NRI seat in Private Medical Colleges, will have to bring the NRI Sponsorship Letter at the time of Counseling along with original documents and all other formalities complete in all respects.
  • All the allotment procedure will be provisional and will be subjected to the Final Decisions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in various matters like SLP no. 13094/2017,12241/2017, 11708/2017, 11692/2017, 13244/2017 and CWP no. 329/2017 etc.
  • In case of any dispute, the area of jurisdiction will be Hon’ble Rajasthan High Court, only.
