Hello, please tell us something about yourself.

My name is Manish Shukla, I completed my graduation from Nantong Medical University China, I scored 171 in FMGE.

According to you what is the correct approach to study for FMGE? Only MCQ's or Theory + MCQ's?

According to me, Theory + MCQ is the best approach to study for FMGE.

When should the preparation ideally be started?

Ideally preparation should be started from 2nd year onwards.

Is this your first attempt? If No, what did you do different this year that lead to your success.

No, this was my third attempt. I scored 135 in my first attempt, than I tried hard in second attempt I got 145 and finally cleared in this attempt. In every attempt I did more and more hard work. This time I proved that hardwork and good planning will never fall you down.

What's the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it?

Practice and revision play very helpful role during preparation and continuity is also very important for FMGE preparation. Minimum 4-5 revision is a must. One must dedicate 12-15 hours every day to study.

Did PrepLadder played a part in your success? If yes, how ?

Yes, PrepLadder helped me alot. I practiced PrepLadder MCQ daily quiz regularly. Also image based questions are very helpful which are posted every day by Prepladder. I want to say thank you so much to PrepLadder team.

Did you followed a time table/study plan to keep your preparation on track?

Yes, I followed my study plan from starting to till day of exam because proper study plan and hard work is the only key to success.

Average student.

Difficult - Medicine and Anatomy Easy - Pharma, Micro, PSM, Obs & Gynae

One mistake that should be avoided while preparing for FMGE

Don't waste time and make less use mobile phones and social media as they will just distract your mind. Prepare all subjects, don't leave any subject because all subjects are important for this exam and prepare hard for preclinical subjects.

Revision and continuity is the key to success . You all can do it always be focused on target. Pay full attention to your study and try to avoid distractions.
