Hello, please tell us something about yourself.

Hi, I am Dr. Haji Abdul Salam. I did my MBBS from Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Ukraine. I passed FMGE December 2017 with the score of 172.

According to you what is the correct approach to study for FMGE ? Only MCQ's or Theory + MCQ's ?

Both theory and MCQ is the best approach for the optimal performance in FMGE.

When should the preparation ideally be started?

If you are targeting December attempt, the best time to start your preparations is June.

Please list the books you studied for each subject.

I referred Roams and Primes.

Is this your first attempt? If No, what did you do different this year that lead to your success.

What's the role of practice and revision while preparing for FMGE and how much time should be dedicated for it?

I have devoted around 12-14 hrs a day.

Yes, I followed a time-table. I made at least 5 revisions on each subject. Were you a topper or an average student during graduation? As far as my studies are concerned, I have always been an average student.

List the most difficult and easiest subjects for you.

Difficult- Pharmacology, Medicine Easy- Dermatology, Anatomy Rest all the subjects appeared to be of moderate difficulty level.

One mistake that should be avoided while preparing for FMGE
