UPSC Declares Civil Services Examination 2020 Results. 761 Candidates Pass

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result for the Civil Services Examination 2020 on its official website, upsc.gov.in

A total of 761 candidates- 216 women and 545 men have cleared the coveted exam and are recommended for various Civil Services by the UPSC.

Shubham Kumar has topped the prestigious Civil Services exam while Jagrati Awasthi has bagged the second position. Mr. Kumar, a B.Tech (Civil Engineering) graduate from IIT Bombay, cracked the exam with Anthropology as his optional subject. Ms. Awasthi qualified the examination with Sociology as her optional subject. She is a B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal.

Steps to check Civil Services 2020 Main Examination Result

  • Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the CSE Final Result 2020 notification.
  • It will redirect you to the PDF of the result page.
  • The candidates can then check their results on the PDF list.

The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages-Preliminary, Main, and Interview to select officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
