NITIE Mumbai Admission 2022 Through GATE Score

Eligibility and Selection Criteria for PGDIE

If you wish to pursue Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering from NITIE Mumbai, then you must have a valid GATE score as of June 15, 2022, with 60% aggregate marks [relaxed by 5% in case of SC/ST/ PwD (Physically Disabled) candidates] at graduation in Engineering/Technology.

It is important to mention that Final year engineering/Technology students can also apply, provided they qualify the above criteria for examination appeared at the time of application and submit their result latest by September 30, 2022. 

Admission is based on Personal Interview (PI) with appropriate weightage to GATE/GRE score (as applicable), academic performance, and relevant experience of reputed industrial Organizations/Academic institutions. All the shortlisted candidates will be called for online PI. Shortlisted International candidates should attend PI along with Indian students or take up an extempore speech and PI through video conferencing.

GATE qualifiers will get Teaching Assistantship (at present Rs. 12400/- per month) and contingency expenditure as per rules.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria for PGDSM

Students interested to pursue Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Management from NITIE Mumbai must have aggregate 60% marks (relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) with a valid GATE/CAT/GMAT/GRE score. 

Candidates appearing for the final year of Engineering/Technology can also apply, provided they qualify the above criteria for examinations appeared at the time of application and submit their result latest by September 30, 2022.

As far as the PGDSM admission process is concerned, every candidate will have to qualify through the GATE/CAT/GMAT/GRE exam for PGDSM course. This will be followed by a personal interview of the shortlisted candidates.
